A large scale potential open pit copper-gold-cobalt
project in northeastern South Australia
SUMMARY
Kalkaroo is one of the larger undeveloped open pit copper deposits in Australia containing 1.1 million tonnes of copper, 3.1 million ounces of gold and 23,200 tonnes of cobalt in Measured, Indicated and Inferred JORC Mineral Resources.​

Sandfire Resources Limited (Sandfire) and Havilah have signed a binding Term Sheet under which Sandfire may earn an 80% interest in Kalkaroo through a two-stage earn-in structure, comprising A$105M upfront consideration (70% scrip and 30% cash) and a further A$105M consideration upon completion of a new PFS that will include a minimum 20,000 metre infill and extension drilling program (subject to execution of Definitive Transaction Agreements and shareholder approval at a general meeting).

SANDFIRE PROPOSED TRANSACTION
A rapid pathway to unlock value via completion of a new PFS that will test the open extents of the Kalkaroo orebody within 18-24 months from execution of the Definitive Transaction Agreements
STRATEGIC ALLIANCE EXPLORATION
Sandfire to commit A$30M to regional exploration over the initial 24 month period, with the opportunity to earn an 80% interest in any discovery by funding drilling of a maiden resource with Havilah retaining 20% on similar terms to Kalkaroo. The objective is to make new Kalkaroo size discoveries.
DIVERSE METALS PORTFOLIO
JORC Mineral Resources for gold, copper and cobalt that provide good exposure to multi-metal commodity cycles plus potential for molybdenum and REE by-products.
